‘Roy the Animal Boy’ is a book of 23 short stories about a boy growing up with a special ability to communicate with animals.  Most of the stories are based upon real life adventures of the author. Saving sea turtles, saved by dolphins, face to face with a mountain lion, meeting a bear, saving a gorilla from drowning, discovering a Tasmanian Tiger, meeting  three wolverines, leading a wolf pack, making friends with a raging chimp, surviving a forest fire, and other stories as told by Roy’s father.
