Crewelwork is one of the oldest forms of Needlework brought to America on the Mayflower. In England and Europe, Crewel was owned only by royal families or seen in churches where King and Queens worshiped. Crewel Embroidery is done with wool or silk & wool blended fibers on fine linen.
