Cultivate: A Choreographer Showcase (produced by Motus Dance) highlights emerging choreographers from Indianapolis and across the Midwest.
Motus Dance, in its efforts to build community through movement, has combined a show that highlights new and exciting choreographers with a neighborhood-based initiative. This new component, made possible by the Arts Council of Indianapolis, includes free classes in community centers such as the MLK Center (40 W. 40th Street) and the Jewish Community Center (6701 Hoover Road). Motus Dance hopes to nurture both choreographers and community members that are simply curious about dance.
