Cultivate Your Garden

You are invited! Please come to the opening reception of Cultivate Your Garden, an exhibition of paintings by Vicky Shaffer White. This is a series of floral paintings which have been abstracted to various degrees and are colorful and inviting. A motto I like is “One man’s weeds are another man’s wildflowers.”
Visit the Stokel Gallery to see a series of unique floral paintings. They all have a certain abstract naturalist twist to them in the way these plants are seen. They are inspired by Candide by Voltaire; a relatively short, funny novel about a man who goes through all the extremes life has to offer only to learn one great lesson which is “We must all cultivate our gardens.” In other words, finding your talent is the key to happiness. Come & see!
