Day of the Dead Alter Exhibition

The Indiana State Museum will host a month-long celebration of los Día de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead. See aspects of this traditional Mexican holiday which honors the lives of the deceased and celebrates the continuation of life with a belief that death is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new stage in existence. The celebration will kick of with the museum’s LatinoFest on September 28 and end on November 3rd, 2013.
