Dr. Christopher Dietz

Poetry, sound as sculpture and color, how toddlers play, deep time and the cosmos, rhythm as geometry, religion, politics and animal behavior inspire the strikingly imaginative music of Christopher Dietz.  Also director of the new music ensemble at Bowling Green, Dr. Dietz has enjoyed recent premieres in London, Auvillar, Montreal, Ottawa, New York, Los Angeles, Washington and more.  He visits UIndy for two days of teaching, including a performance by the UIndy Wind Ensemble and a Friday evening chamber concert.
