ICO Concertmaster Emily Glover performs Barber’s violin concerto with the orchestra. Mischa Santora, a candidate for the Music Director position, conducts. The orchestra performs the second excerpt from Composer-in-Residence James Aikman’s new composition Peacemakers, an evolving composition from which excerpts will be premiered over the 30th season. Featuring one of our own, this concert displays the virtuosic talent of the ICO musicians performing beloved and new works.
