“Hanging by a Thread” a group show featuring Susan Fletcher Conaway, Karyl Boring, Stephanie Robertson, Lucy Burton, Molly Kelley, and Marcia Jones in the Annex Gallery. This collection of fiber art includes a variety of mediums from sewing to weaving.
“Intersections” by Jingo de la Rosa in the City Gallery. A series of urban sketches that highlight some of Indianapolis’ street corners. From the busier ones to the ones tucked away in neighborhoods, these landmarks always remind us that home… is just around the corner.
“Perseverance” by Glizzy Gunning in the Hank & Dolly’s Gallery. Each of the portraits in this show are people the artist “met” through magazines and various ads that he connected with to help him make it through his time while he was incarcerated.
“Acrocontortional Luminarium,” by Chad Campbell in the Underground Gallery. A multidimensional tribute to those who push their bodies and minds to the limit in order to perform for others. Immerse yourself in acrobats, contortionists, and colored shadows.
All shows will open at 6 pm Friday, August 6th.
In-person socially distanced gallery tours will open for visitors Monday-Friday from 9am – 5pm and online beginning August 9th. Make an appointment or view the online galleries at harrisoncenter.org/buy-art.
Special Senior Hours are every Friday from 2:00pm – 4:00pm. No appointment is needed.
