Fractal Menagerie--A 3D Video Exhibition

“Fractal Menagerie” is an exhibit focusing on the animated fractal artwork of Weddington, using multiple video screens to display moving fractals. Some will move so slowly that their movement will be hardly noticed, some will flow like ocean waves, while others will dance with the energy of the Big Bang. Many of the pieces will have accompanying music composed specifically for that piece. Each fractal is 3D and 3D glasses will be available for gallery patrons, to better take in all of the exhibitions many dimensions. The band 3:1 will be performing as well, and performed all of the music for Weddington’s pieces.
