Collage, patchwork, sampling, erasure, and writing within constraints invite us to rethink authorship, and in the process we find new avenues and fresh approaches to writing.
Instructor: Jessica Reed
Sometimes allowing ourselves to play leads to material for our best work. This can mean temporarily setting aside a personal project to borrow and reconfigure another text and reinvigorate our own relationship with language. Your creative voice will emerge from even the most technical experiments. Collage, patchwork, sampling, erasure, and writing within constraints invite us to rethink authorship, and in the process we find new avenues and fresh approaches to writing.
