This documentary explores the life of singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen as seen through the prism of his internationally renowned hymn, “Hallelujah.” A Q&A will follow the screening with artist Melissa Mongiat.

Mongiat is co-founder of Daily tous les jours, a Montreal-based art and design studio best known for its work in public spaces. Daily tous les jours are the creators of I heard there was a secret chord, a sound-based installation on display at the Herron School of Art and Design Galleries. Created in 2017, secret chord was a commission from the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada.
