10th West Gallery is pleased to welcome for their March exhibition nationally acclaimed Illinois photographers Chehalis Hegner & Peg Shaw. Both artists utilize the human form to enhance the absence of space, either veiled or highlighted with natural, rural landscapes. Hegner allows the audience to weave between surrealistic landscapes and elaborate human portraiture. Shaw’s human forms emerge or dissolve through grit, bare terra and botanical, mixed media elements. Alongside Hegner & Shaw the 10th West Gallery team welcomes Indianapolis based photographer Don Fitzpatrick as our featured artist. Alongside Fitzpatrick, are acclaimed artists Patrick Driscoll, Cagney King, Katrina J. Murray, John Ross, Sivavis, Laura Stennett, Mary Lou Dooley Waller and Shamira Wilson.
Hegner & Shaw opens on March 1st from 6 to 9 p.m. and runs through March 30, 2019.
