History Happy Hour: Indianapolis Soul Music

Take a trip back to the legendary studios of LAMP Records, the only Indianapolis-based recording company to take songs to hit status with acts like the Vanguards and Ebony Rhythm Band. Hear how this studio woke up Naptown’s soul in the late 1960s and launched the careers of some of Indy’s most influential musicians with founder Herb Miller and local music historian and radio host Kyle Long.

Free. Additional opportunities available to support the IHS Programs and Collections.
