Holy Cross Neighborhood Tour

Each Thursday in May, Indiana Landmarks will stage an entertaining walking tour, turning the spotlight on a different historic Indianapolis neighborhood. The up-and-coming Holy Cross neighborhood featured on May 26 is well known as the home of Angie’s List, located in several restored historic buildings, and for the great view of the downtown skyline from Highland Park, the second highest point in Indianapolis.

The 90-minute tours involve a one- to one-and-a-half-mile walk led by residents of the neighborhood with Indiana Landmarks docents. Guides will tell the history of each area and its revitalization. You’ll see the range in house styles, get the scoop on average sale prices, and see the interior of one or more buildings. Indiana Landmarks presents the tours with Historic Urban Neighborhoods of Indianapolis and the neighborhood associations in each area.
