The Indianapolis Choir Orchestra presents Dominance and Defiance, featuring Michael Daugherty’s Trail of Tears performed by flute soloist Amy Porter.
Amy Porter performs a moving flute concert including the musical piece Trail of Tears by Michael Daugherty, about the forced removal of Native Americans in the 1830s. Her performance with the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra takes place at the Schrott Center for the Arts at Butler University January 25 at 7:30 p.m.
