The 2021–22 DeHaan Classical Series is a grand world tour of musical masterworks. Enjoy musical postcards, a sampling of the immense musical catalog of different countries, regions, and cultures, and guest artists from around the world.
Many French composers have been fascinated with the sounds of Spain, and Emmanuel Chabrier and Maurice Ravel are two who synthesized the best aspects of both musical cultures. Nights in the Gardens of Spain featuring pianist Stewart Goodyear presents an atmospheric look at de Falla’s native homeland, while Russia’s Korsakov shows off Spanish folk melodies in Capriccio Espagnol, though he never visited the country.
