On August 20, Indiana Landmarks’ Indiana Automotive affinity group hosts a talk on Indiana’s innovative automotive designs.

Author Dennis Horvath highlights the Hoosier state’s role in automotive innovation by focusing on three Indiana-built cars — the “Twenty Grand” Duesenberg exhibited at the Chicago World’s Fair in 1933, the Cord Model 810 that debuted at the New York Auto Show in 1935, and the Studebaker Avanti, introduced simultaneously in 1962 at the New York International
