Installation Nation

Primary Colours is excited to announce Installation Nation this April 25 and 26 on the open grounds of the Indianapolis Art Center’s ArtsPark. This year, Primary Colours is leaving behind the shipping containers and fully embracing the artistic opportunities and challenges of creating installations directly in the park. 11 artists/artist groups will transform ArtsPark into an outdoor gallery. This is an excellent opportunity to see artists testing the limits of temporary outdoor installation art and a very unique offering in Indianapolis’ annual art calendar.  Each artist’s work presents a different vision of installation art. There will be interactive pieces, pieces in the trees, on the grounds, on the terrace, and hung on sheets. The nature of the layout will allow the viewer to experience pieces individually as well as interacting with each other.
