Join us at the Indianapolis Art Center for the last show in our third annual summer concert series Jazz at the Center! On Thursday, August 17 at 7:00PM we welcome Pavel & Direct Contact to the terrace to wrap up the summer.
Pavel & Direct Contact is known for their energetic, fiery performances, much in the vein of the modern pyrotechnicians of today’s Latin Jazz world. Led by Internationally-known Dominican pianist and Chicago Music Awards Nominee Pavel Polanco-Safadit, Direct Contact brings an unforgettable experience of Latin Jazz, Salsa, and Latin-infused American pop.
IJF Artistic & Education Director Rob Dixon says that Pavel’s show will be the perfect way to send off the summer.
“Pavel is an entertaining and mesmerizing Latin jazz sensation. Crowds are never disappointed by him or his group. He works 200% all the time!”
Tickets are $25 in advance and are also available in a full series package (entrance to all three shows) for $20 (all three shows for $60). Children 12 and under are free.
In the event of inclement weather on the day of the show, we will alert you of the cancellation. The “rain date” for this show is Wednesday, August 23.
