Lois Main Templeton: A Reinvented Life

Hoosier artist Lois Main Templeton at 90 years of age remains a force of nature. Her artwork is an extension of her personality: direct, confident, unapologetic and larger-than-life.

She combined her love of writing with her passion for painting to create one-of-a-kind works of art that are distinctively hers. In this exhibit, guests will experience 30 of her paintings, see her journals to observe her artistic process and learn about her life. Inspired by her work, visitors will then be able to make their own scratch art or poetry using magnetic words.
