Making a Difference Celebration

Since 2003 we have helped children in our Summer Day Camp to learn about local (as well as national) people, who have accomplished great things in the areas of Education, Public Service, Business, Health Care, and Community Leadership. This summer five more local leaders became a permanent part of our Legacy Series. This year we honor Police Chief Rick Hite; District Judge Tanya Walton Pratt;  Leroy Robinson, educator and City Councilman; Betty Perry, Founder of Metropolitan Youth Orchestra; Yvonne Perkins, Vice President, Community Relations at Citizens Energy Group.
