Mendelssohn's Elijah

The Sanctuary Choir and Festival Orchestra, with guest appearance by the Second Presbyterian Children’s Choir, present the dramatic narrative of the Old Testament prophet Elijah in its most compelling musical setting.

Vivid sound-pictures of fire, earthquake and ocean infuse the events of the prophet’s life with startling immediacy.

Soloists include: Samuel Spade (Elijah), Mitzi Westra (the Widow of Zarephath), Caitlin Stewart and Lyndsay Moy (Angels), John Brewer, Isai Jess Muñoz and Karen Palmer.
