Microcompositon Project 2022 Premiere

Please join Classical Music Indy for our third year of the Micro Composition Project. The 2022 Micro Composition Premiere will be at 6:30pm on Friday September 16th at AMP at 16 Tech. Admission to this event is free. The Micro Composition project commissions four short works annually from local composers. The goal of this project is to advance equitable new music opportunities for artists and audiences in Central Indiana. This years composers are Dr. Carolin Ahn, Dr. Jorge Muniz, Jared Thomas, and CMI’s director of community engagement, Eric Salazar. Premiering these works will be one of Indianapolis’ leading chamber ensembles, Forward Motion.
