A Night Out in Sleepy Hollow

Irvington was named for Washington Irving (born April 3, 1783, died November 28, 1859), an American short story writer, historian, and diplomat of the early 19th century. He is best known for the short stories “Rip Van Winkle” (1819) and “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” (1820).

You are invited to join your neighbors and friends for an evening in Irving Circle Park, as we celebrate Halloween, in homage to Irving, with an evening highlighting authors, storytelling, and American artists of all
