Open Mic with Heartland Society of Women Writers and Spoke City Writing

Bring your favorite lines from your current WIP, a poem you’ve written, a piece of art you love, or a song you want to perform. This can be your work or work that you admire. Come together with us as a community of women writers and lovers of art as we share and celebrate each other.

While this event is shared with an organization that is not exclusive to women, non-binary, and femme identifying people, Heartland Society is. For this event and those in the future, we intend to maintain the safe spaces we have created for those folx. All are still welcome to participate in Spoke City Writing’s other open mics that are held on Instagram. This only applies to the first Tuesday of the month, HLWW partnered event.
