Shear’s “Time Stamp” explores the formal qualities of mark-making in painting.
Opening Jan. 9 in Herron School of Art and Design’s Marsh Gallery is “Time Stamp,” an exhibition of new paintings by Peter Shear, a self-taught artist based in Bloomington. Located in Eskenazi Hall on the IUPUI campus, the Galleries at Herron are free and open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays.
