Indy Clay Co-op at Fountain Square Clay Center presents, “Plastic Swords”, by Christopher Dance, on First Friday in October.
Plastic Swords encapsulates the idea of childhood innocence and ignorance of what the symbols and structures around a developing person represent. Through odd juxtapositions of personal portraiture, religious relics, and pop culture iconography I seek to hold a mirror to the acceptance of violence in mainstream culture.
