The Preservation Hall Jazz Band takes its name from New Orleans’ Preservation Hall, the humble but historic French Quarter music venue dedicated to keeping the past and future of jazz alive. People from around the globe make pilgrimages to it, and now its ambassadors, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, are embarking on a pilgrimage of their own: a nationwide tour to celebrate their 60th anniversary.
