'Sprawl' by Christina Hollering & 'Tools' by Jesse Lindenfeld presented at STORAGE SPACE Art Gallery

Christina Hollering is a visual artist, muralist, and associate professor at Herron School of Art.”My work is heavily inspired by the natural sciences, specifically entomology. I use my work to inform and educate the public about the lesser-known or loved creatures we share our planet with and their important roles in our ecosystem. By using layered cut paper, Mylar, and printmaking to illustrate the natural world’s uniqueness and beauty, I hope to instill a sense of awe and desire to protect and preserve these creatures. I hope that my work will cultivate a desire in others to explore and discover the mysteries of the world around us, beginning with our own backyards.”

Jesse Lindenfeld is an artist/designer from Indiana. His work explores digital culture, craft, and subcultures within art and design. His mediums range from digitally fabricated objects to handmade ceramics, and his explorations center on the unprescribed interaction between diverse mediums. He holds a B.S. in Architecture from Ball State University and is currently working for Project One Studio in Indianapolis, Indiana.
