Congolese artist, Jean Claude Lofenia, will be discussing evolution and how it brings us to development and cultural diversity as well as to a real globalization. He also considers the spirituality that permeates every aspect of his art.
Jean Claude Lofenia is a Congolese refugee who has been in Indianapolis for just over a year. He is a well-known artist in Africa and Europe. His work is currently on display at the Indianapolis Art Center as part of the exhibition – Mirrors of Common Destiny – a collection of works by artists from the Democratic Republic of Congo and Myanmar (Burma).
