A traditional ballet classic story told by the young minds. This version will give highlights from the original story with a twist of how they see it.
The Performing Arts Conservatory opens their holiday season with The Nutcracker Suite. It is a story like no other, told through the eyes of teenagers. The Nutcracker, which is traditionally a ballet, received a bit of a twist as the students share their version of the story in a current and modern way. This beautiful holiday favorite infused with jazz music arranged by Duke Ellington and Billy Strayhorn is a Nutcracker like no other.
