Thriller Night! with Jelani Davis

Bust out your zombie garb and join us on the dance floor for a three-week Thriller choreography series taught by Michael Jackson impersonator, Jelani Davis. Each week we will learn a section from the 1983 music video for Michael Jackson’s Thriller, choregraphed by American dance-maker Michael Peters.

Jelani Davis is a Michael Jackson dance impersonator from Indianapolis, Indiana, where he has been training since 2009. Jelani had no formal instruction to train him in the art of impersonating Michael Jackson. He used only a DVD recording of a live concert tour, and replicated to the best of his ability, the iconic dance steps of the legendary King of Pop. His skills in dancing in this field have increased over the years and the enormous amount of practice has paid off. He has recently started performing for the public and has made it is mission as an impersonator, to spread joy and inspiration.
