Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain

Formed in 1985, this groundbreaking ensemble comprises only ukuleles of various sizes, along with its members’ voices. The eight-member group blends elements of rock, classical, jazz, folk, film soundtracks and other genres into a truly unique musical experience, sometimes combining songs from disparate origins into a “soup of contrasts.”

Now an international sensation, George Hinchcliffe’s Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain has sold out such venues as Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall and Sydney Opera House, performing for members of the British Royal Family, other crowned heads of Europe, the Houses of Parliament in London and many millions of television and online viewers.
