Mama Rose lives to see her daughter Dainty June succeed on Broadway but June tires of being cute and runs away. Rose then turns her attention to her elder, less talented, daughter Louise. Louise does succeed as Gypsy Rose Lee, a burlesque dancer in the dying vaudeville era. Starring Rosalind Russell and Natalie Wood.
