On February 5th, 2021, join us for a virtual First Friday online! Enjoy the opening of “Gemini,” a show including a variety of sand and acrylic layered paintings by artist Derrick Carter.
Additionally, William Denton Ray will present “Spectrum,” a series of new mixed media work exploring a variety of techniques and surfaces with paint, ink and paper.
Viewers can also enjoy a new collection by Israel Solomon, entitled, “TEN-O-FOUR”. Israel’s paintings mix vibrant colors with geometric shapes and patterns to create rhythm within his work.
Also opening is “Primary Colors,” by We Are Indy Arts, a new body of work featuring Bruce Armstong, Anthony Radford, Rebecca Robinson, Courtney Porter, Gary Gee, Latoya Marlin, Omar Rashan, & S.J. Holiday/Mijiza.
Stephanie McDairmant will be debuting “Prayer Requests,” an array of colorful and black & white abstract paintings.
“Imperfection,” artworks including large abstract mixed media paintings by Steve Mannheimer and sculptures of wood by John Ross, will be on view as well.

After our virtual First Friday, all shows are open for in-person, socially distanced visitors Monday-Friday from 9am – 5pm, beginning February 8th. Make an appointment online at harrisoncenter.org/buy-art.
