Women Veterans Public Listening Session -- Hoosier Women VETERANS Speak 2.0

We want to hear from you! Please join the Indiana Commission for Women on November 28th at the Propylaeum Historic Foundation for a public Listening Session. Light refreshments will be provided. Parking is available in a surface lot and there is on-street parking nearby.

Between June and December of 2018, the Indiana Commission for Women (ICW) will be holding 13 regional and stakeholder listening sessions to identify key issues facing women VETERANS, understand the critical needs that women and communities perceive as important, identify changes to key issues occurring between 2011 and 2018 and continue to build relationships with regional partners.

These discussions can foster a process that engages women and community stakeholders in identifying challenges women face and positive solutions to those challenges. The results can contribute to a better understanding of women’s specific needs, to improve communication of those needs and to better recognize ways to remove barriers. They can also assist in informing leaders at the local, county and state levels of important challenges affecting women both regionally and statewide, in expanding coalitions and in building capacity to work across networks to improve outreach efforts.
