WOW Presents : Quinn Sternberg

Quinn Sternberg, originally from Bloomington, Indiana, is a New Orleans bassist, composer, and bandleader. Quinn’s three albums, Weird World, Mind Beach, and Cicada Songs, are influenced by his musical upbringing in the Midwest, his new home in New Orleans, and contemporary musical elements. As a result, a new take on the Jazz tradition emerges that is both melodic and groovy, “complex but digestible” (DownBeat Magazine), and soulful while highly interactive. Quinn’s band, which includes some of New Orleans’ finest musicians, has wowed audiences with their intense live energy at venues ranging from listening rooms to rock clubs to festival stages.
