  • Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre
    Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre
    Dining/Food;  Theater
Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre has been serving up food, fun and fabulous live entertainment for everyone since 1973. Located in College Park, the theatre was part of a chain of dinner theatres built by Louisville contractor J. Scott Talbott. It was called "Beef" because of the delicious hand carved roast beef served before the performances, and "Boards" referring to the boards or stage of a theatre. Today, the Indianapolis location is privately owned and the sole remaining Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, entertaining more than 155,000 theatergoers annually. Each season includes professional Broadway shows, select concerts and acclaimed children's theatre productions by our resident Pyramid Players. But a visit to Beef & Boards is more than just great theatre! We offer a tasty dinner buffet prepared by our in-house chef, plus a full-service bar and mouthwatering gourmet desserts. Be sure to stop by the Intermission gift shop for unique gift ideas, and ask about seeing more shows for less through our VIP membership program. Come see why each year more and more people discover the value and quality of Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre! Beef & Boards is a member of Actors' Equity Association, the only union for professional actors in legitimate theatre.

The Indianapolis Irish Festival is in its 18th year. The festival is an opportunity to share Irish heritage through music, dance, cultural activities, and family fun. The festival was the vision of a small group of people who wanted to showcase the heritage, music and culture of the Irish people and the contributions of that culture to our city and state. The Irish are the second largest ethnic group to settle in the Indianapolis area. They have served the community in the fields of religion, education, medicine, law, the arts, politics and commerce. Indy’s Irish Festival committee, an all volunteer 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, was formed in 1996 to host the first festival. Its mission is to preserve, promote and nurture Irish culture, arts, music, and history. The festival has grown significantly over the years and with it, so has the festival’s support of charities and community organizations. Since its inception, the festival has made donations to or helped community organizations raise more than $100,000.
