Indy Jazz Foundation
The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation is dedicated to assuring the continued growth and development of jazz and jazz education in Indianapolis and its surrounding communities. As part of it’s mission, the Indianapolis Jazz Foundation initiates programs that nurture and promote the understanding and appreciation of jazz and its heritage, provides leadership for education outreach programs, assists teachers and practitioners with information and resources, and takes an active part in organizing clinics and symposiums at local and regional levels.
The Indianapolis Jazz Foundation believes strongly in the future of jazz, and realizes the future lies in the young students who we reach out to through performances and educational programs. The Foundation produces inspirational performances, clinics and workshops in the Indianapolis and surrounding school systems.
We wish to acknowledge and thank Lilly Endowment for their funding in support of our educational initiatives. Without their support, many of our programs would not be possible.
I am a 28 year old mother of five. I’ve always had a passion for painting art canvases and my kids inspired me to target more of the cartoon side of things. I’ve always been a cartoon fanatic and loved creating things with my own spin to the art and it is a dream to see some things come to life. I am currently working on mythical creatures to show my inner magic and imagination. I am also working on different cartoon characters and pop art. I am looking to show my art at various events and getting my work recognized.
