For the past couple of years I’ve been painting small pieces on cereal box cardboard; subjects include people and scenes on my East Side of Indianapolis; biblical narratives; religious images; woods and water, Indiana farms and small towns, urban sites; old buildings wherever I go. I consider my style naive (not “native”!) and not at all academic. Each painting expresses something I’ve seen, hope for, imagine, appreciate, and every single day brings new inspiration.
