My name is Andrea Ettinger. I am a German citizen and  have lived in the U.S. thirty years; twenty of them in Indianapolis. My home town is Cologne ,which is the sister city to Indianapolis. Art,in many forms has been a passion of mine thru out my life. To explore the possibilities ,I have taken classes and attended workshops in a variety of mediums. Watercolor,Acrylic,Oil, Stain Glass,Photography,Drawing,Leather working, Print making and more. During my early years (ten years in New Jersey) I painted interior wall murals and made collaborative art with children in school. My two children and I came to Indianapolis in 1997. Professionally I worked in fine jewelry for fifteen years. For the past 13 years I have lived on the near west side. During this time it has been my goal to help beautify this, and it’s surrounding  neighborhoods. NoWoe Studio is a collaborative I formed that includes a diverse group of Artists that meets once per week. We have murals and other works in the Michigan street Art Alley, the Hawthorne community center, Stringtown, and Indy Convergence. Excluding Murals, most of my current works includes recycled materials. To list a few: Slate Paintings, Steampunk Art, Large mosaics and Jewelry.
