Melissa Sue Serrano is a mixed media artist, who specializes in painted portraits of women. Melissa’s contemporary portraiture mixes aerosol and acrylic paint with wheat paste collage to focus on the stereotyped female gender identity brought on by the past and present society and media. Melissa, originally from San Diego, California, currently lives in Indianapolis, Indiana  with her husband and two cats. Melissa has displayed her work all over San Diego County and Hollywood, CA.
