Jodie is a life-long doer, maker, and pioneer. As an adolescent, she used her dad’s power tools to build her ideas. As a high school freshman, she was the first female industrial arts student and was awarded Fine Arts Student of the Year. She started her first business in her 30’s, began university studies in costume design in her 40’s, and in her 50’s earned a degree in art history. She then achieved a master of fine arts in sculpture as a member of the first MFA cohort at Herron School of Art and Design. After successful post-graduate careers in fine arts museums and academia she returned to the studio full-time to explore the fuzzy lines between art, fashion, and performance.
