The stimuli for my artistic work is the translation of experiences and moments into a visual record. I have a compelling desire to understand life, remember beauty, find purpose in tragedy, and ultimately be whole as an individual. I believe that visual art is a bridge to personal wholeness and a tool for wholeness in communities at large.

My artistic language incorporates landscape, nature, human figure, and color. Utilizing my background in much and concepts of music theory, I incorporate my artistic vocabulary to create visual representations of melody, harmony, rhythm, dissonance, and counterpoint to further emphasize the content of my work.
