The sculpture is arrived through the manipulation of translucent aluminum mesh  which is sculpted using original folding techniques developed many centuries in Japan. Each individual sculpture is assembled from pieces numbering just a few into the hundreds.

Each piece is custom painted with low VOC enamel paint to ensure durability and color.  Custom Lighting can be included to give the illuminated sculptures a radiant glow and pattern the surrounding areas.

The lightweight kinetic sculpture ranges from 2’to 60′ in height.

The Sculpture is my expression of the transcendence of all unseen things.  Those moments when we as human beings recognize the this moment is all we have.  To arrive at that moment requires that all thinking stop.  While studing Islamic Art I discovered that the geometric forms  allowed the viewer to slow down and become still, and through their stillness the unseen became seen and transcendence could occur.

Through this transcendence the recognition of the “moment” allows peace and a end to suffering.
