One’s fascination with nature is universal. We adore, worship, and stand in awe of nature. We come from it, and eventually we return to it. It provides us with some of the most beautiful phenomena. However, these phenomena are no rare occurrence. We encounter them all the time, though we are too caught up in human drama and fail to recognize them. Think of mountains and cracks in the sidewalk, of the cells of a virus and the image of far off solar systems, of synapses, lightning, fungi, smoke, the bark of a tree, of a flock of birds, of oil, the pattern of water, the pattern of natural growth. This organic, invisible pattern that guides everything is of utmost importance to my work. And I strive to bring light to it; whether in the details or as the end all.

I am interested in art as the collective beauty found in every form; in creating paintings that transcend paint, in both mental and physical sense. Paintings that are a snapshot of my psyche, universally translated into an intimate relationship, unique to all. Drafting every possible item to service; attempt all, following a map of my own intuition, where all directions lead to higher ground, so long as you are moving. Drink from the stream of consciousness in an attempt to live, to evolve, to thrive. I want to create and destroy until I discover the difference between the two. To stumble through accident and into enlightenment.

I challenge the viewers to reflect upon and expand their own field of questioning and experience, to realize that everything is connected and everything matters; the organic pattern of life. Unus mundus.

Everything is everything is everything.
