Sylvia Gray is an Indianapolis native. She earned her degree at IU Bloomington and later studied at Herron School of Art and Design. As a full time artist, she is involved with many art organizations and is most proud of her membership in the Indiana Artisans. Her work can be found at the Indiana Artisan shops in both Carmel and French Lick, Art in Hand in Zionsville, IN, her studio at Circle City Industrial Complex (S10), and online.

Now a full-time artist, Gray creates silk paintings for the home and personal wear. She also teaches classes in silk painting and other media, sharing her love for art and the knowledge she has gained from her teachers and travels.
