Himes produces and directs film and touring theatre productions illustrating the diverse black experience. She has produced and directed one seven-time award winning short film and has written and staged two plays for Indiana State Museum’s Legacy Theatre. Her play, “Life on the Avenue,” was showcased at the 2004 American Association of Museums conference.
