The anxiety I experience when I am creating a painting flows over into the work and that anxiety is only calmed when the vision comes to life on canvas, board or paper. In a world full of confusion and chaos, my desire is to create something that relieves the state of confusion and chaos at least in the minds of art viewers. I enjoy using oil paints because oils allows me to take the time and just look at what I am doing and rearange some areas of the work if needed. My style is landscapes. I love the clustering of the trees and the beauty of the changing seasons but I also enjoy depicting everyday human life in my work. I found that I have a loving relationship with painting that needs my full attention like children do.
