I am a trained dancer and a self-taught visual artist. I see light and color and shape and movement in everything. I walk into a room and I am captivated by dust floating in a stream of light coming through the window. I walk down a busy street on a rainy day and   I am enthralled by the shifting patterns created by colorful umbrellas. My bodies of work explore the presence of light, color, shape, and movement in daily life. I am more pre-occupied with exploring the manifestations of these elements than I am with maintaining a loyalty to a particular art form, therefore I oscillate between video, installation, painting, and digital photography. I am currently spending much of my time exploring the kinetic manipulation of found light through a photographic process.
